Memorial graveside services for Barry Dale Mooney will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at Selma District Cemetery in Selma, CA.
Mooney was born May 13, 1950 in Selma, CA and passed July 24, 2002 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was the son of the late Francis Barnes Mooney of Selma, CA and Dale and Anna Mooney of Bache, OK.
Mooney graduated from South High School, Bakersfield, CA in 1969 and married Donna Armer in June 1973. He worked most of his life in oil field related jobs until his illness in 1995. Mooney later attended college in Colorado Springs, CO, to be a computer programmer. He lacked only a few credits to receive his diploma before his death.
Mooney is survived by his wife, Donna; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Barry Dale and Jamie Mooney, Jr., IN, and Jason Wayne Mooney, TN; and a daughter, Yvette Marie Mooney, CO. Other survivors include parents, Dale and Anna Mooney; four brothers, Larry Mooney, Mike and Clyde Roberts, OK; and Clifton Roberts, CA; two sisters, Becky Riley, AR, and Patty Wyatt, CA. Four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles also survive him.
He was preceded in death by ;his mother, Francis Barnes Mooney; a brother, Russell Mooney; and grandparents Mooney and Barnes.
