Emily Sloan Bryant 91 of San Saba passed away on Thursday March 5, 2009 in San Saba, Texas. She was born on November 16, 1917 in Richland Springs, Texas the daughter of Joshua Walter Munselle and Heba Hortenese Ransom Munselle. Emily was a florist. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and also was a member of the Women's Relief Society.

Emily is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Emily Paula and Raymond Barrier of San Saba; her son and daughter-in-law William Edward Jr and Carol Bryant of Richland Springs; her grand-children Lisa and Byron Theodosis of San Saba; Raymond Barrier III of Lubbock, Texas.; Carol and Steve Leach of Irving, Texas; Susan and Kevin Hanks of Eagle Point, Oregon; Wes and Michelle Bryant of Richland Springs, Texas; Elizabeth Bryant of San Saba, Texas; and Marguerite Bryant of Richland Springs, Texas; her great-grandchildren Nicholas and Laura Theodosis of San Marcos, Texas; Ana and Tom Haymore of Stanford, California; Raymond and Allison Theodosis of Lubbock, Texas; Paul and Cami Theodosis of Provo, Utah; Michelle Theodosis of Provo, Utah; Melissa and Daniel Arano of Salt Lake City, Utah; Raymond and Jullene Barrier of Provo, Utah; Jason Barrier of Stephenville, Texas; Matthew Barrier of Camp Pendleton, Caalifornia; Daniel Barrier of Lubbock, Texas; Steven, Jonathon, Olivia, Nathaniel, Rebecca and Caroline Leach of Irving, Texas; David, Trevor, Chloe, Brooke, Emma, Ethan and Hannah Hanks of Eagle Point, Oregon; and Jayden and Riley Bryant of Richland Springs, Texas; her great-great grandchildren Jacob and Samuel Theodosis; William Haymore; Joshua and Paul Theodosis; Ethan Theodosis; and Daniel Arano. Also surviving Emily are her sister Gladys B. Powell of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law Margie Munselle; and brother and sister-in-law John Walter and Melanie Munselle of Lovelady, Texas.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents Joshua W. and Heba Munselle; sisters Mary Munselle Lewis; Joan Munselle Collins; Bentley Munselle Stevens; Ophelia Munselle Nagel; brothers, Ransom Munselle; Charles Munselle; and a grandaughter Emily Ann Bryant.

The family received friends on Friday March 6, 2009, at the Church of Christ Fellowship Hall in San Saba. Services were at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 7, 2009 at the Richland Springs Cemetery Pavilion with Bishop Matthew Doyle and Byron Theodosis officiating. Interment followed at the Richland Springs Cemetery at Richland Springs, Texas.

Services were under the direction of Sheppard Funeral Home of Copperas Cove, Texas.
