Corpus Christi Caller, Corpus Christi, Texas, May 16, 1967, Page 28, Col. 6: Mrs. Dorothy Dema Briscoe, 47, 10653 Hurst, died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital after a short illness. She had lived here 15 years and was a native of Henrietta. She was a member of the Arlington Heights Church of Christ. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jane Wade of Walnut Creek, Calif., Misses Barbabra Ruth and Rebecca Ann Briscoe, both of Corpus Christi; a son, Coyt Briscoe Jr. of Corpus Christi; four sisters Mrs. Ollie Waddell of Donna, Mrs. J. D. Brixey of Weslaco, Mrs. Lee Salvidge of Henrietta, and Mrs. R. M. Locke of Wichita Falls; three brothers, James S. Peden of Wichita Falls, L. M. Peden of Henrietta and Tommy P. Peden of Olney.
