Gautier -- One Gautier teenager is dead and another seriouly injured in a one-car crash that happened
early this morning on Martin Bluff Road.

Eric Lavan Sherman, 16, was pronounced dead on arrival at Singing River Hospital at 1:45 a.m. this morning. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Brett Gamblin, 15, Gautier. Gamblin is listed in fair condition in the neuro-surgical intensive care unit at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula.

Coroner Benny Bryant said an inquest jury held that Sherman's death was accidental.
