Laura M. Badham, 88, of 949 Thirteenth street, the widow of Ernest Badham, died Wednesday in a Marion nursing home.

Born July 15, 1887, in Washington county, she was married to Ernest E. Badham Feb. 9, 1910.

The couple farmed north of Marion since 1910 until moving to Marion in 1948.

She was a member of the First United Methodist church and Progressive club.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Frank Frederick, Marion, and Mrs. Maggie Brown, Quincy, Ill.

Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Glen W. Lamb. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park. Visitation at Murdoch chapel after 11 a.m. Friday. Memorial fund established.
