CAMBRIDGE CITY - Carl F. Beam, age 77, 217 W. Front St., Cambridge City, died Friday afternoon in Henry County Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Carl was the Jackson Township assessor, a member of the Cambridge City Presbyterian Church and the local Kiwanis Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mina E. Beam, dying on December 26, 1969.
Survivors include two brothers: Paul and Earl Beam, both of Indianapolis; a half-brother, Wilbur Beam of Rushville; four half-sisters: Mrs. Elsie DeBruler of R. 1 Cambridge City, Mrs. Lucille Kennedy of Rushville, Mrs. Walter Cox of New Lisbon and Mrs. Dorothy Bruner of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Howard and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Stanley L. Trarves officiating. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
*Carl was the son of Finley Wilson and Laura Bell (Taylor) Beam. He married Mina Snyder the daughter of Jacob and Laura Jane (Lawson) Snyder.
