Carl C. Anderson, aged 79 years, of Marienville, formerly of Wind Ridge, died at 12:45 PM Sunday, Oct. 17, 1976 in the Warren General Hospital after a short illness.
He was born June 19, 1897 in Jackson Township a son of the late Spencer and Jessie Allison Anderson.
He worked as a driller in the oil and gas fields most of his life and lived at Wind Ridge. The last 12 years he lived at Marienville.
He was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church at Wind Ridge and of the IOOF Lodge 469 at Waynesburg.
He was married June 19, 1923 to Margaret Funk who died June 21, 1964.
A sister, Lillian Braddock and two brothers, Robert Anderson and Edward Anderson, are deceased.
