The line of descent from Richard Warren, Mayflower passenger, to Stephen Stoddard is as follows:
Jane Gardner and NATHANIEL STODDARD
son of
Nathaniel Stoddar and ELIZABETH SPRAGUE,
daughter of
Priscilla Knight and JEREMIAH SPRAGUE,
son of
Anthony Sprague and ELIZABETH BARTLETT,
daughter of
Robert Bartlett and MARY WARREN,
daughter of
RICHARD WARREN, Mayflower passenger
When I visited the Frost Cemetery on July 13, 2010, the cemetery was badly overgrown by the forest and the stones were in disarray. Lee Corbett, on whose property the cemetery is located, had led me to the site in the woods. I commented to him that it needed to be cleaned up and restored. I even offered to help pay the cost. I did not hear from Mr. Corbett but, upon my return on July 30, 2012, I found the forest cleared from around the cemetery. The stones had been cleaned. The stones that had fallen down or had been leaning now were straightened up. This good work likely must be attributed to Mr. Corbett. We owe him our gratitude. Recorded by Charles Carter Morgan on July 30, 2012.
Stephen Stoddard married Mary Richards Johnson on August 8, 1824. No Find A Grave Memorial for Mary could be found at the time this memorial was established for Stephen.
