HOYT D. BALLEW

CAMPOBELLO - Hoyt D. Ballew, 59, husband of Mrs. Magadalene Sawyer Ballew, of Route 1, died Friday at his Windy Hill Grocery Store near Inman.

Son of the late Berry and Ila Page Ballew; member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.

Also surviving; daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Pierce and Mrs. Wanda Carson of Campobello, Route 1; sons, Garland Ballew of Campobello, Route 1 and Ray Ballew of Kings Mountain; sisters, Mrs. Vettie Wilson, Mrs. Marie Turner and Mrs. Drucella McElrath of Inman; brother, Ansel Ballew of Campobello, Route 1; six grandchildren.

Services 3 Sunday at Walnut Hill Baptist Church by the Revs. W.F. Lister, Furman Jackson and Fred Bryant; burial in Church cemetery.

Pallbearers: Gerald McElrath, Glenn Wilson, Leroy Mathis, Wayne Sawyer, Vaughn Clayton and Randall Connor; Deacons and former Deacons of Walnut HIll Baptist Church will serve as honorary escort.

Body will be at the home at 2 today; in Church at 2 Sunday. Petty Funeral Home, Landrum.
