Roberta Tufford, a homemaker, died Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Martinez. She was 91.
The native of Cheyenne, Wyo. and lived in Concord, CA before spending the last four in Antioch, CA. She was a member of the Daughters of American Colonists. During WWII, she worked at the Modification Center and was the air raid warden. She enjoyed genealogy and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters Lorraine Hubbell, and Bernice Kentner, both of Antioch; 7 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Her husband of 64 years, William Tufford died in 1988. Her son Donald died in 1976.
