Charles A. Lierman died yesterday in Napa at age 80. Mr. Lierman, a native of Kentucky, came to California in 1901, and to Napa in 1902. Mr. Lierman operated meat markets and ranches in the Napa area until his retirement in 1944. Since retirement he devoted his time to cattle ranching.
Mr. Lierman was the husband of the late May H. Liermann: he is survived by one daughter, Hazel Bertagna of Napa: he was the father of the late Virginia Dickie. Additional survivors include five sisters, Freda Lierman, Gretchen Lierman, Hazel Dartnell, Emma McDemrott, and Carrie German, all of Ohio: and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Treadway and Wigger Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Turnbull of St. Mary's Episcopal Church will officiate. Entombment will be at Tulocay Memorial Mausoleum.
