Son of Daniel and Anna or Anne Fargo. He was the husband of Elizabeth Carey. He was a soldier in the Civil War, a member of Co. D, 50th Regiment, New York Volunteer Infantry. He died at the age of 77 years.

Obituary:
The death of Harrison Hodge, 77, occurred at his home Thursday, December 17. The cause of heart trouble. Surviving is the widow, one daughter,Mrs. Carrie Duffy, one brother, Dwight Hodge of Canastota, and one sister, Mrs. Wealthy Taber of Constantia. Mr. Hodge was a veteran of the Civil War. [Oneida Democratic Union - December 24, 1914]
