Ernest Loden Sr., 90, of Marietta died Sunday, April 16, 2006.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Billy Raburn officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Loden served in the Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war. He also served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Woodstock.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Loden of Douglasville and Ernest Loden Jr. of Canton; one daughter, Linda L. Van of Marietta; one sister, Mary N. Passino of Athens; and six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
