Funeral services for Mrs. Lucinda J. Brake, 75, who died Sunday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. M. F. Spain, 724 South Main street, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Bass chapel, near Fair Grove, followed by burial in the cemetery there under the direction of the Jones Undertaking company of Buffalo. Mrs. Brake, who lived at Strafford until her recent illness, is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Brown of Springfield; Mrs. O. J. McPherson of Irvine, Ky.; Mrs. J. A. Byrd of Edgar, Mont.; Mrs. Dora Alexander of Casa, Ark., and Mrs. Spain; four sons, J. O. Akin of Strafford, R. L. Akin of California, G. B. Akin and O. H. Akin of Springfield, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
