Services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2004, at 1 p. m. at the Sierra View Mortuary for Jimmie Eugene Stalnaker, 67, of Marysville, CA. He died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at Rideout Hospital.
He was born January 11, 1936, in Gay, West Virginia. He was a resident of the Yuba Sutter area for 38 years.
He retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service. He was president of the Robinson Corner Pool League.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Stalnaker of Marysville; one son Roy Scott Stalnaker of Iowa; three daughters, Sherry Stalnaker of Taylor, MI, Connie Cusick of Whites town, IN and Laurie Grahman of Oroville and two sisters, Bertha Smith of Cincinnati, OH and Sharon Slama of Portland, OR. He is survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held today, Wednesday, April 14, 2004, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sierra View Mortuary, 4498 Olive Avenue, Marysville, CA.
Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sierra View Mortuary.
