Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Inman Britt, 87, of Sardis, MS, passed away on September 26, 2013 at her home. She was born in Sardis, MS, on September 1, 1926 to Boney Inman and Zannie Ruth Inman. A member of First Baptist Church in Sardis, MS, she was a member of the Sardis Red One Rook Club and the First Baptist Church Young at Heart Club.
Mrs. Britt is survived by four daughters, Gloria Mock (Phil) of Senatobia, MS, Vicki Pitcock , and Jamie Johnson (Don) both of Sardis, MS, and Lana Douglas (David) of Batesville, MS; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late James E. "Bud" Britt, her parents, one sister, the late Mattie Dean Gray and one brother, the late Barney Inman.
