Chris was a carpenter and farmer.
Their children are: Joseph married Ruth Wendt and lives in Omaha, Nebraska; Gertrude married Alden Janssen and lives in Tiffin, Iowa; Mildred married Jack Kirschbaum and lives near Defiance; and Veronica married Ralph Pauley and lives in Woodbine, Iowa.
