WILSON E. BARNES
Rosary for Wilson Eugene Barnes, 71, of 5707 27th Av. N.E., will be said at 7:30 o'clock this evening in the John Kalin chapel.
Requiem Mass will be said at 10 o'clock tomorrow in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Holyrood.
Mr. Barnes was a millwright for the Bechtel Corp. in Los Angeles for many years, retiring in 1950. He was born in Eugene, Ore. His mother was a member of a pioneer Oregon family and his paternal grandfather was one of the first Mississippi riverboat captains.
Mr. Barnes was educated in Tacoma. He lived in Seattle as a young man and was a chief refrigerating engineer for the American Mail Line. He returned to Seattle after his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Mary A.; a son, Wilson A. Barnes, Seattle; four daughters, Mrs. Walter Hanna, Mrs. George Miller and Mrs. Joseph Anderson, all of Seattle, and Mrs. E.G. Gault, Mount Vernon; a brother, Harvey Barnes, Longbranch, Pierce County; a sister, Miss Jane Barnes, Tacoma, and nine grandchildren.

Wilson Barnes lies in an unmarked grave (R-816-1) between the marked graves of William F. Benner (R-815-7) on the left and Joe K. Anderson (R-816-3) on the right.
