Wilsie "Buddy" Wright, Jr., 91, of Hawkinsville, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in Pulaski County. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday at the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church with Dr. Don McClung officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wright was a native of Harris City, Meriwether County, Georgia. He was a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. He was an Air Force Veteran of W.W. 11. He was a retired sales manager having worked for the Coca Cola Company for many years. Mr. Wright was a member of the Hawkinsville V.F.W. Post and the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Windy Inn Gang.
Survivors include one daughter, Ginger Wright (Mike) Akers of Columbus; sons, Wilsie (Rosemary) Wright of Hawkinsville and Terry Wright of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Trent Wright and Logan Wright both of Hawkinsville; sisters, Josephine Eichenberger of Manchester, GA, and Laurine Davenport of Gainesville, GA; special friend, Mauvita Coley of Hawkinsville; sister-in-law, Elwanda Daniel, Hawkinsville; brothes-in-law, Hubert Bennett and Oliver Daniel, both of Hawkinsville.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at Clark Funeral home. Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville in charge of arrangements.
