He married Judette E. Griswold in 1861 by whom he had one son who died young. I am looking for more information about Norman's son.

Norman served during the Civil War with Company B 96th Il Inf. & was also with the Signal Corps.

He died as a result of being imprisoned at Andersonville & other prisons during the war.

After the war, he was sick frequently & barely able to work much of the time.
He lived in Nashua, Chickasaw Co., IA until near the time of his death.

Norman was my great-granduncle.
