James Roscoe Hogan, age 78, of Rover died Monday, March 23, 1987, at the Yell County Hospital in Danville. He was a retired Yell County employee, the son of the late Francis and Ada Norman Hogan and a life long resident of Rover.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Johnson Hogan; two grandchildren Ricky Hogan, of Rockdale, Texas and Kay Pennington of Searcy and four great-grandchildren.
Services were March 25 at Rover Baptist Church with the Rev. Claude Miles and Rev. Kelly Dunn officiating. Interment was in Hunt Cemetery, Rover, AR by Cornwell Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were Bob Anderson, Quinton Walker, Joe Dishough, W.T. Pugh, Monroe Brown, Roy Short. Honorary were Monroe Hunt, Dr. J.O. Pennington, Marvin Sullivan and Bill Milligan.
