Malva Lou, seven week's-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Coy Allen, died at 5:45 am Wednesday at the Jackson County Hospital.
Deep sympathy is felt for the grief stricken young parents.
The funeral was held from the residence of Mrs. Allen's mother, Mrs. J.H. Bonham, Thursday afternoon, with Rev. E.D. Simpson conducting the services, assisted by Rev. J.H. Havens and Rev. R.L. Vaughn; interment being made in the Vancleave cemetery.
The pallbearers were four young girls, Elfreda Cochran, Bessie Ryals, Hazel Davis and Dorothy Simpson.
Out of town people who came for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Homer Beck and family; Mr. and Mrs. Weiland Henry and family of Mobile, and Mr. and Mrs. Ira Havens of Moss, Miss.
