MY MOTHER, MY HERO, MY STRENGTH, MY LIFE I MISS HER EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY.
MARY JO, 49, PASSED AWAY ON MAY 22ND, 2002 IN SHARP GROSSMONT HOSPITAL IN LA MESA, CALIFORNIA. SHE PASSED AWAY DUE TO SMALL CELL CARCINOMA (LUNG CANCER). SHE HAD BEEN SICK FOR A LONG LONG TIME. SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME SOME 10 + YEARS EARLIER. AND SHE HAD BEEN IN A LOT OF PAIN THOSE LAST YEARS. INPATIENT VISITS TO THE HOSPITAL BECAME MORE FREQUENT AND ON THAT FINAL VISIT IS WHEN THEY FINALLY DID A CAT SCAN AND FOUND THE CANCER. BY THE TIME WE FOUND OUT SHE HAD CANCER IT WAS MUCH TOO LATE. IT WAS A VERY RAPID CANCER THAT HAD ALREADY SPREAD TO HER BONES AND LIVER. SHE LEFT US LESS THAN 1 WEEK LATER. SHE HAS 3 CHILDREN, MY OLDER BROTHER ERIC, MYSELF, AND MY YOUNGER SISTER LEANNE. SHE HAS ONE BEAUTIFUL GRAND DAUGHTER.... WE ALL MISS HER MORE THAN WORDS COULD EVER SAY...
~~LANDSLIDE~~ I took my love, I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills till the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky What is love Can the child within my heart rise above Can I sail thru the changing ocean tides Can I handle the seasons of my life Well, Ive been afraid of changing cause Ive built my life around you But time makes you bolder Children get older Im getting older too Oh, take my love, take it down Climb a mountain and turn around If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well the landslide will bring it down If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills Well maybe the landslide will bring it down.
