A celebration of life service will be at 2p.m. Wednesday at the Elgin stampede hall for Eddy Allen Erickson 54 of Elgin, Who Died july 26 at his home outside of summerville.
A potluck will follow the service. People are asked to bring their own drinks.
Visitation was scheduled to begin today at 1 p.m. at loveland funeral chapel, 1504 fourth st. La grande.
Mr Erickson was born june 4 1948 to Milton Herschel And Lorrene Bernice Horn Erickson in Lagrande. he grew up in Elgin and graduated from Elgin high school in 1967. He also had a residence in Hermiston
He Enjoyed Hunting Fishing and other time spent outdoors.
Family members said he had a great sense of humor and enjoyed giving a helping hand to neighbores and friends.
Mr Erickson is survived by brothers Milton randy Erickson of sparks Nevada and Tony Rene Erickson and his wife Tina of Elgin.Many aunts uncles and other relatives.
His parents and brother Marvin Dale Erickson died earlier.
