Very kind people have tried to locate the grave site of Angel-Baby Mary, including the Catholic Cemetery Association, which wrote: "Unfortunately, though we can confirm that Mary Ann Galpin, 11 hours old, was buried at Calvary Cemetery in Winchester on February 21, 1949, we cannot provide a location. It appears that Mary Ann was likely placed in a baby section, as you thought, with other infants also buried in the same gravesite. However, in trying to research a baby section, we have no dates on any available information prior to 1951."
Chris Jewer, who responded to my original inquiry to the [email protected], spent many hours walking through Calvary Cemetery. I will always remember his kindness.
