Mrs. Canzady Geneva Evans, 68, a native of Tennessee and a resident of Dunlap for the last 35 years, died this morning in the home of a son, Wilbur Goldman Evans, in the Oleander district following an illness of several months. Surviving her are her husband, Byrd Evans, Dunlap; six daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ayers, Downey; Mrs. Buena Jackson, Dinuba; Mrs. Marjorie Brock, Dinuba; Mrs. Stella Jackson, Concord; Mrs. Buela Downey, Winton; and Mrs. Versie Collins, Winton; four sons, Levi Evans, Winton; Goldman Evans, Oleander; Estus Evans, Pinehurst, and Robert Evans, Camp Roberts, and 16 grandshildren. Graveside furneral services will be held Monday afternon at 3 o'clock in the Dunlap Cemetery, with the Jorgensen Furneral Home of Fowler in charge.
