Obituary:
Dorothy Mae Rodgers, 86, of Chandler, died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, in the Stroud Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Firstborn in Chandler. Interment followed at the Chandler Cemetery. Brother Tom Wright presided.

Services were under the direction of Palmer Funeral Home of Cushing.

She was born Jan. 7, 1917, in Tryon, to Alvin and Jenny (Saltzman) Dillman. She married Herman Hurst Dec. 24, 1936. He preceded her in death along with her parents and brothers, Raymond and Truman.

She married Raymond Rodgers in 1954 and they moved to Agra and lived there until moving to Chandler in 1978. She operated the Lincoln County Tag Agency for many years before retiring. She loved to attend her church, The Chandler Church of the Firstborn.

Survivors include, husband Raymond of the home; sons, Don Hurst of Mustang, Jack Hurst of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Myrna Bean of Chandler and Sharon Brixey of Mustang; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and many brethren and
friends.
