Woodrow (Toby) Secord, was 27 years old when he was injured critically by a car, crossing Genesee Street in New Hartford, NY. His injuries resulted in his death. He was on his way to work, as a cook, at the Jack and Andy Diner in New Hartford.
Mr. Secord was born in East Branch.He was the son of Eva Tyler and James Secord. He married his wife Mary, on November 18,1942.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary Frances Lickiewicz Secord and their son, Brian T Secord. Also surviving him are three sisters; Mrs. Geraldine O'Brien of Windsor, Mrs. Winifred Baxter of Delhi, Mrs. Lella Young of Binghamton, three brothers; Richard and Raymond of Delhi, and Roscoe of Hamden, and several nieces and nephews.
