Bailey Ruth Pratt Campbell, was born on December 16, 1939 in Coopertown, Tennessee to her Parents; Bailey Warefield Pratt and Hattie Ola Watts Pratt.
She had three older sisters; June, Annette Shepard, and Bette Frances Fitzhugh.
Bailey Ruth, Graduated High School in the state of Florida at The Hollywood High School with the Class of 1958. A few years after she was born her Parents moved to Florida and made it their home in the Winter season. As, a child she and her family attended Martin's Chapel United Methodist Church, and they were very dynamic in the community.
She married her second Husband, William Robert Campbell in the year of 1975. She and Robert did not have children of their own, but Robert did have two children from other previous marriages; Tina and Robert Jr.
Since she had been a child she loved to play the piano. When she was in her 20's she modeled for local clothing stores in Nashville, TN while she was in Nursing School. She later got her Nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse for Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN for over 20 years.
She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer early in the year of 2006. Amazingly, she still worked as a Nurse up till five months before her passing.
She chose to not seek any treatment for her cancer, and passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the age of 68 years old.
Bailey Ruth, was cremated, and she did not request a visitation, or a memorial service. Her family and close friends came together on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park to watch the entombment of her ashes in the niche next to her husband, Robert.
