Elaine Miller was Partner to Dave who is my father. She was also mother to: Tom, Shaun and Jordan. She was a very kind and warm hearted person. She was sociable and loved a good gossip from time to time.

Dumbell was her married name because she was married before she met my father, this was Tom and Shaun's Father who she was married to. She and my father met after she got divorced and I was born many years after.

On Feb 21st 2008 my mother died of natural causes, She drank a lot in the months before she died and was unwell a lot. She passed away early hours in the morning. It was a tragic feeling that I will never forget. Thinking about it now I remember it being very de-realised and cannot remember everything as I was only young.

One thing I will never forget is that several hours after she had died me and my brother Shaun, who has an excellent guitar skill, decided to write a song in memory of our mother. We had the song printed in the 'family notices' section in the newspaper, along with our own personal messages.
The song we have written below is only one verse long, but I will never forget the words.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Mum we miss you so much
We hold you in our hearts
Even though we miss you
We'll never be apart
We never got to tell you
How much we really loved you
Your happy with the angels by your side (x3)
