Megan is always in our thoughts and our hearts each and every day that goes by. She never knew sadness, never knew disappointment, never knew loss. The only thing she knew was that she was loved. A lifetime of love was what she had and we are glad we were able to give that to her.
Megan passed away due to Potter's Sequence, a type of Potter's Syndrome, which is a condition when the baby's kidneys are not working due to a defect in development shortly after the baby is conceived. Because the kidneys are not functioning, there is no amniotic fluid in the womb, much needed fluid for lung development.
