Worcester - WORCESTER- Charles Raymond "Ray" Albro, Jr. died peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Beaumont at Worcester following an illness. He was 84. He leaves his beloved wife of 61 years, Marie E. (Bibeault) Albro and several nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Charles R. and Josephine (Sedgwich) Albro and has lived here all of his life. Ray was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean War, serving for two years. Following his discharge, Ray began a long career in the auto body repair field. He worked for several years as a repair appraiser and then went on to own and operate the Viking Auto Body in Worcester for many years. He enjoyed visiting Maine, loved to fish and was a wonderful vegetable gardener.
A private prayer service will be held, followed by burial with Military Honors in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Veterans Inc.
