Birth: Oct. 5, 1904
Texas, USA
Death: Oct., 1977
Texas, USA

Ted Hinton knew Bonnie and Clyde better than any other law officer. Ted knew them not only on a professional level, but also on a personal level, growing up in the same part of West Dallas. He was friends with the Barrow family before becoming a deputy. He was a rookie sheriff's deputy when he was assigned to track down Bonnie and Clyde. It was Ted Hinton that took the famous 16mm film that documented the ambush site. After the deaths of Bonnie and Clyde Ted would remain in close contact with the families and look out for their interests. Besides being a sheriff's deputy, in World War II he was taught to fly and he would train pilots for the Army Air Corps. Later on, he ran a trucking company and operated a motel in Irving, Texas. In 1977 Ted would pass from this life as the last surviving member of the posse that killed Bonnie and Clyde.
