Esther E. Heidenfelder, nee May, 82, of Belleville, IL, born July 5 1919 in Belleville, IL, died Friday May 3, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Mrs. Heidenfelder was a retired office manager for Curley Clothing Co., St Louis, MO. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Belleville, IL. She also was a 50-year member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1739 and a longtime member and office-holder of the Rebecca Lodge 415. She was a Senior Aid board member as well.
Mrs Heidenfelder was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Catherine, nee Dintelman, May and a brother Floyd P May.
Surviving are her husband Al W. Heidenfelder whom she married Dec 17 1992, a sister-in-law, Mary Alice May of Belleville, IL, and nieces and nephews.
