Everett Davis Sr., 82, 222 W.15th St., South Sioux City, died Wednesday shortly after arrival at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. The Rev. Karl H. Konig will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today in the Jack Becker Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
Mr. Davis was born Nov. 25, 1900, at Walthill, Neb. He married Margie B. McManigal Aug. 25, 1921, at Dakota City. They lived in Sioux City until 1935 when they moved to South Sioux City. She died Sept. 30, 1979 in Sioux City.
Mr. Davis was employed as a stationary engineer at Armour & Co. from 1920 until 1962. He was a member of the First Lutheran CHurch in South Sioux City and Franternal Order of Eagles in Sioux City.
Survivors include a son, Everett Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. William (Darlene) Clausen and Mrs. Wayne (Diane) Boyd, all of South Sioux City; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
