Confederate Soldier. Served as a First Lieutenant in Company B of the 2nd Georgia Battalion. Captured and held as a Prisoner of War at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD. He died while in custody and was interred at the post's soldiers' grave, subsequently was reinterred at Loudon Park National Cemetery.
