Houston County Courier - February 2, 2006 Obit for Mrs. Mary Sue Johnson, age 101 of Crockett, passed away Sunday, January 29, 1905 in Crockett. Mrs. Johnson was born January 29, 1905 in Crockett and she had lived all of her lifetime in Crockett. Mrs. Johnson was a housewife and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Crockett. Survivors include her daughter Alma Kaspar, of Crockett; son Neil Johnson and wife Nadine, of Crockett; grandchildren Jimmy Dan Johnson and wife Lee, of Tyler, Judy Trimble, of Houston, Connie Poag and husband Stephen, of Patterson, Calif., Larry Kaspar and wife Donna, of Crockett; step-children Cheryl Dodge and husband Bryan and Steven Fannin and wife Susan; great-grandchildren Kim, Tim, Misty,Jason, Jamie, Steven, Brandi, Cory and Jason; numerous great-great-grandchildren; sisters Sybil Wilson, of El Paso, Vivian Hampton, of Rockport and Gwen White, of Lake Jackson; brother Jim Cloud, of Great Fall, MO., and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by her husband C. C. Johnson, Sr. in 1986; son C. C. "Bubba" Johnson in 1992 and his wife Artie Johnson in 2000; granddaughter Deborah Frizzell in 2001; daughter-in-law Al Kaspar in 2001; daughter-in-law Ann Johnson in 1984; three brothers and four sisters. Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Sue Johnson were held Wednesday, February 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Gibson officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 2 Eighth Street, Crockett, TX. 75835
