Lucy King Mullins was born December 15, 1859 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. She married John Williams in 1883 in Kentucky and subsequently had seven children, including: Joshia J., Jake, Fannie F., Lilia E., Thomas J. and Mary C. In 1900, the family was living on a farm they rented in Township 1, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. The household included: John T., born September 1859 in Virginia of Virginia parents, married 17 years; Lucy K., born December 1859 in Kentucky of Kentucky parents, married 17 years, six living children of seven born; Joshia J., born November 1882 in Kentucky; Jake, born November 1883 in Kentucky; Fannie F., born October 1886 in Kentucky; Lilia E., born October 1888 in Kentucky; Thomas J., born September 1896 in Indian Territory; and Mary C., born January 1899 in Indian Territory.

In 1910, the family was living on a farm they owned in Canadian, Oklahoma (Cleveland County). The household included: John T., age 49, married once for 47 years; Lucy K, age 49, married once for 27 years, six children living of seven born; Thomas J., age 13; Mary C., age 10, and Jackson Jones, age 18, a servant.

By 1920, John and Lucy were age 60 and living alone in a home they owned on Catalba Street in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County). John was working as a teamster.

John died and in 1930, she was living with their daughter Fannie and her husband and children on a farm in Elmore City, Oklahoma (Garvin County). The household included: Leighton Tomlinson, age 49, married at age 26, born in Texas; Fannie, age 43, born in Kentucky; Tig, age 18, Trudet, age 15; and Lucy K. Williams, age 70, widowed, married at age 22.
