Walter C. "Pinky" Caldwell, 86, of Bryant died Tuesday, September 24, 2013. He was born November 3, 1926 in Lonsdale to the late Walter S. and Dora Moore Caldwell. He retired as a dispatcher for A, P&L and served as a deacon at Temple Baptist Church. Mr. Caldwell served in the U.S. Navy and was a 32nd Degree Master Mason.

In addition to his parents, his loving wife of 57 years, Reba C. Caldwell and eleven siblings also preceded him in death.

Survivors include four children, Rodney Caldwell and wife Jan, of Bryant, Daryl Caldwell and wife Stacy, of Greenbrier, Alan Caldwell and wife Suzanne, of Durant, Oklahoma, and Teresa Calhoun and husband Steve, of Romance, AR; twelve grandchildren, Rick, Monica, Marty, Luke, Caleb, Katie, Sean, Nick, Rachel, Jerod, Lauren and Cameron; eleven great-grandchildren, Jake, Austin, Maddi Sue, Aubree, Caden, Griffin, Mayson, Keaton, Brindel, Payslie, and Tylar; nephew, Ronald Harris and wife Rose of Bauxite, and a sister-in-law, Audrey Caldwell of Benton.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bro. Jerry Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, September 26th at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church Mission Fund and/or Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, 222 W. Pope St., Monticello, AR 71655.
