Horatio Milo Ray Huntley was the third child of five born to Horace Milo Huntley and Mary Elizabeth McBride Huntley on August 21, 1892 in Crescent, Oklahoma.

Ray was married to Ellen Leora McDonald on Sunday at high noon June 27, 1915, at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. John McDonald. After the ceremony the bride's mother invited the guests into the dining room where a bountiful dinner was served.

Ray was a successful school teacher having taught five years at district 7. Springdale.

Ray and Ellen were blessed with four beautiful children ~ Dessie Nadine, Esther Elizabeth, John Milo and Nolan Leroy.

He had four sisters ~ Edna V. (Huffman), Florence Viola (Northcutt), Golda Sarah Icie June (Taggert) and Izma Elizabeth (Hughes).

Ray was a Farmer Stockman in Grant County Oklahoma most all his life, he retired in 1952. Ellen passed away in 1931, their youngest son Nolan was only two years old. Ray was a wonderful son, brother, father and granddad.

Ray married Stella L. Thornton Sunday June 8, 1934 at the Presbyterian parsonage in Caldwell, Kansas.
