Lawrence "Nute" Porter, on Friday, June 6, 1975, husband, father of 4 sons, 3 daughters, brother of three siblings, son in law of one, nephew of two, and the late Isiah Porter. Deceased is survived by one brother in law and 6 sisters in laws, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Law St, Asia, and Mt. Moriah Baptist churches and all neighboring churches, the Law Height Benevolent Association, I.L.A. Local 1419 are invited to attend the wake and funeral. Religious services from Labat-Llopis Mortuary, 1703 N. Claiborne Ave., on Tuesday, June 10, 1975 at 8pm., Rev. Eddie B. Scott officiating, assisted by Rev. Zebedee Bridges. Interment I Providence Memorial park. Dismissal services on Wednesday, June 11, 1975 at 10am. Federal Funeral Home, Inc., in charge.
