MRS. PIPKIN SERVICES MONDAY
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church for Mrs. Leona Pipkin, 77, of Farwell. Rev. W. T. Perry officiated, assisted by Dr. H. E. Bergstrom.
Mrs. Pipkin, a resident of Farwell since 1928, died Saturday in Clovis Memorial Hospital. She was buried in Texico Cemetery under the direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Karl "Smokey" Gast, Bob Anderson, Charles Lovelace, Vic Venable, John Porter and Guy Cox.
Survivors include her husband, O. B.; two sons, Jess of Amarillo and Donald Joe of Clovis; three brothers, Albert McClure of Roswell, N. M., Clarence McClure of Memphis, Tex., and Alfred Sherrill of Abilene, Tex.; three sisters, Cora Lee Shipley and Bess Wilson of Floydada and Lillian Faulkner of Howe, Tex.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
