ALBANY � Ginger Lee Turner, 51, of Stockbridge, GA, died Thursday evening October 17, 2002, as a result of a heart attack at Henry County Medical Center in Stockbridge.
The funeral service will be today, 5 P.M. at Floral Memory Gardens. Dr. C. Michael Gravette and the Rev. Ray Bowman will officiate.
She was an Albany native and had lived in Stockbridge for the past 4 years. She was a member of Assembly of God Faith and was a 1969 graduate of Albany High School. She worked most of her life as a nurse's aid for Home Health Services caring for elderly and sick. She was truly most happy when she could be outside among nature or fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Roland T. Turner of Stockbridge; two sons, Joseph M. Turner and Lee T. Turner, both of Stockbridge; parents, Robert E. and Joyce Lee of Albany; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie Lee and Colquitt Odom Jr. of Bay Springs, MS; brother, Monte C. Lee of Leesburg; nephew, Colquitt H. Odom III of Nashville, TN; niece, Rachael Lee Gresham of Atlanta.
