Loyce is the daughter of Claude Jonas and Maggie Conner. She is the granddaughter of John Jonas and Evie Hope, and the granddaughter of Steve Conner and Fannie Vaughn. Loyce had a sister, Ernie Jonas, and a brother J. C. Jonas. She married Ervin Beard. They had four children, daughters, Janice and Lydia, and two children who died at birth. She later married Mr. Lanier.
September 24, 2020. She was a great Mother, Grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Her favorites names were Mama and Mamaw. The last several weeks she spent quality time with her children Janice Poteet and husband Chuck Poteet and Lydia Beard Wolfe and husband Steve Wolfe along with grandchildren:
Alan and Lisa Trawick, Alison Trawick Ford, Alena and Chance Cleaver, Mandy and Billy Beamer, Anthony and Susan Munsinger, Cheri and Jeff Patton and Laura and Kelly Greenleaf. Her great grandchildren were special to her in their own different ways. She prayed for them all each day, Garrett, Justin, Cody, Macie, Camdon, Brailen, A’Briana, CJ, Haley, Carson, Jacob, Thomas, Ethan,Jathan, Brinsan, Roper, Cadie, Maddie, and Vivian.
