Elvin L. Campbell, 80, passed away October 31, 2004 at Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born June 30, 1924 in Bates, Arkansas and worked in a sawmill.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred Campbell of Waldron, Ark., Stoncy & Carol Campbell of Longview Texas, Winston & Melinda Cagle and Harvey Cagle all of Poteau, three daughters-in-law, Benna Campbell & Joetta Campbell of Poteau, and Annie Campbell of Sallisaw; 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; one sister, Stella Pomeroy of Little Rock, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cumile, two brothers, Jessie Campbell and Acey Campbell, two sisters, Laura Parker and Ina Dale Willingam; a son, Albert Campbell; a daughter, Wilma Cagle; and 2 granddaughters, Marinda G. and Elizabeth Campbell.
