Larry E. “Dutch” Cochran, of Butler, passed away Monday morning November 30, 2009 in Mansfield MedCentral Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was 68. Serving in the Army, Dutch was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1965 receiving rank of PFC E-3.
Hardworking and committed, Dutch worked in quality control at General Motors Ontario Plant. Working for over 30 years Larry retired in 2000. Dutch’s favorite hobby was fishing….bass fishing. He loved fishing from his boat, spending the day on the water. Quite the chef, Dutch would cook and grill anything and everything.
