Crystle Griffin Newbold, age 40, left her loving family peacefully March 9, 1996.
She was born July 29, 1955, in Panguitch, Utah. Married Steven Newbold on March 27, 1980.
Crystle graduated from Murray High School and worked with the Salt Lake County Sheriffs for the past 12 years as a dispatcher. Crystle enjoyed her life, work and her many friends. She loved working with young people and was currently serving as second counselor in the Young Women's organization.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; daughter, Kasi; and son, William (Ernie). Also four stepsons, Shane, Shad, Shawn and Shastin; parents, Clem and Donita Griffin of Escalante, Utah; sisters, Mitzi (Tom) Borovatz and Kelly (Kraig) Lundeberg; mother-in-law, Dorothy Newbold; sister-in-law, Sharon Phelps; 12 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her brother, Robert Griffin, and niece, Colette Griffin.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Murray Riverside 1st Ward, 5425 South 600 West. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church.
