Clinto Hazel (Clapper) Lamb, 89, Peculiar, MO, died Monday, September 28, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30 at the First Baptist Church in Peculiar, MO. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at the Union Cemetery in Stella, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Peculiar building fund/youth fund.

Clinto was born November 24, 1919 in Stella, MO, the daughter of Elmer James and Martha Anna (Harmon) Clapper. She married Le Roy Lamb on August 29, 1942 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She had lived in Stella, MO and Kansas City, MO before moving to Peculiar.

Clinto was a woman of faith and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Peculiar. Her interests included cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Clinto was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Le Roy on June 16, 1998, four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one son, Larry Ross Lamb and his wife, Debbie of Peculiar, MO; two daughters, Joyce Ann Walkington and her husband, Bill of Peculiar, MO and Sharon Coleen Johnson of Farlington, KS; her grandchildren, Lee Walkington, Bryan Sleeper, Kelly Sleeper Keegan, Brandy Lamb Scott, Betsy Lamb Dierker; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Jean Cox and Wanda Lehl.
