Cherie Lauren Hamilton, age 20, went home to be with the Lord. She was taken from us too soon as a result of a tragic 150-200 foot fall at Wishon Reservoir Hell's Hole area.

Cherie was a 2007 Buchanan High School graduate, continuing her education to become a psychiatrist. Cherie worked at Criterion Cinema in Sierra Vista Mall. She had a zest for life, loved family, friends, and her beloved Boston Terrier, Sophie.

Cherie was a loving, honest, compassionate, kind young woman. She enjoyed singing, playing music, oil painting and snow skiing.

Cherie will be missed terribly and is survived by her mother, Michelle Denise Jenkins; step-father, Dan Jenkins; step-sisters, Cori Olsen and her husband Mike, Michele Jenkins and Alana Jenkins; her father, Gary C. Hamilton; stepmother, Tami Hamilton; halfbrothers, Garrett and Griffin Hamilton; and step-sisters, Jen Griffin and her husband David and Kimmie Dearman and her husband Corey; grandmother, Liz Cooper; grandfather, Jim Hamilton; and step-grandfather, Ted Gennuso, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home, on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 2:00 till 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Clovis Missionary Baptist Church, 854 N. Fowler, Clovis, Ca. on Thursday, August 20, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clovis Animal Shelter, 908 Villa, Clovis, Ca. 93612, (559)324-2451.
