Dianna B. Moreno, 63, of Aransas Pass, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2012, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 12 noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012, and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2012, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2012, at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass. Burial will follow in Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
Dianna was born in Port Lavaca, Texas to Ralph and Elida Ramos. She was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Moreno, Sr., of Aransas Pass; sons: Ramiro Moreno, of Aransas Pass, Jose Moreno, Jr., of Queens, New York, and Gabriel Moreno, of Aransas Pass; daughters, Rebecca Garcia and husband, Jose, of Kennedy, Texas, Yvette Vasquez and husband, David Max, of Ingleside, Texas, and Lydia Galvan and husband, Christopher Ryan, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 14 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; mother, Elida Ramos, of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers: Paul Ramos and Ralph Ramos, both of Ft. Worth, Ramiro Ramos of Houston, Steve Ramos and Tomas Ramos, both of Aransas Pass, Gilbert Ramos, of Portland, Texas, and Johnny Ramos, of Kennedy, Texas; sister, Marie Ramos, of Aransas Pass; other relatives and many friends.
